Our Beach Packs are all yours as a guest staying at Cape Rey. Our valet team will provide beach chairs, umbrellas, towels beach gear and toys for your best ever beach day.
If you want to pack a little picnic to take, stop by The Break gift shop for some grab-n-go items like house-made salads, sandwiches, snacks and cookies freshly made by our pastry chef - while they last.
We Partner with a local company Surfin Fire Surf School, family-owned and operated and ready to teach you the basics and more. Learn basic surfing skills, techniques, ocean awareness and beach safety from experienced CPR/First Aid Certified instructors with a company background in firefighting and life saving. Surfin Fire has a brand new, pristine location for lessons just south of Cape Rey (2 miles) at Stone Steps Beach in Leucadia (Neptune Avenue & South El Portal). This beautiful sandy beach sits secluded from other busy beaches and is just 4 blocks north of the much larger Moonlight Beach, near the resort.
All Private and Group Lessons Include:
Private Lessons (1 person) 1.5 hours - $110 and 2 hours - $130 per person
Group Lessons (2-3 people) 1.5 hours - $85 per person and 2 hours - $95 per person
Ripper Snapper Lessons for ages 5-7 - 1.5 hour lesson for $125
Surf Day Camps To Join:
Half day surf camps are available Monday - Friday for ages 8 up to adults - from either 9am to noon or 12:30 to 3:30pm - $125
All surf Lessons are available all year round and weekly camps are also available.
